The stamp I believe is cancelled with a cachet and not a Royal mail approved special event postmark.
I expect that the covers on a genuine Philart British Legion FDC and a British Legion stamp were then cancelled with this cachet made by the exhibition organisers and sold at the exhibition to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.
