At the 1891 U.P.U. congress in Vienna it was decided that in the future the word ‘Paquebot’ would be stamped on all letters when handed over at the Port of arrival having been posted at sea. This came in to use in 1894

Stamp is 10c Rose red and believed posted in the Canary Islands
