Special postcards and ordinary coloured cards were available at the Castle, stamped with a 3d stamp and they could be posted in the old oak posting box at the castle. Once collected they would be hand stamped with the special cancellation at an inclusive cost of 1/ 6d.
Request could be made to Her Grace the Duchess of Roxburgh (Hand Stamp Cancellation) Floors Castle, Kelso Scotland.
