Model for Heroes Fifth Year of Operation
Models for Heroes (M4H) exists for those who sacrifice their health to improve and protect our lives. They do this by simply offering them the joy of model making. M4H is the first charitable organisation in the UK to support the use of model making hobbies with former and current Armed Forces and Emergency Service Personnel in the United Kingdom. 2022 sees the 5th year of its operation and to mark this BFPS, in cooperation with M4H, will be publishing a commemorative cover to be issued on the 7th of July 2022.

The cover bears images of models and the M4H logo. A Royal Mail 1st Class commemorative stamp depicting a Hurricane aircraft was chosen for the cover to reflect the model making theme. This will be cancelled by a bespoke BFPS special handstamp numbered 3240.

Two versions of the cover will be available: a standard unsigned version (£8) plus a signed and numbered limited edition (£16.00). The latter will be signed by Al Murray, Comedian, Historian, and model maker.

All covers include an information insert and will be presented in a protective cellophane sleeve making a very collectable souvenir of M4H’s 5th year.
