Post Office Cover

On 13 August 1969 the Hackney Community Relations Council (H.C.R.C.)  held a special one day exhibition at the Town Hall,Mare Street Hackney E8 from 1430 t0 2130 to publicise their work. There was also a special stamp display emphasizing the diversity of the Hackney residents.

Exhibitors were from members of the Metropolitan Police Philatelic Society, Stoke Newington Stamp Club, London Transport Philatelic Society and the London Philatelic Society.

A fully serviced event cover was available at a cost of 3/ 6d  from the Community Relations Officer 231 Mare Street Hackney

There was a special posting box at the exhibition.
