The covers were produced to raise donations for Naval Charities. The covers commemorated Naval events and on occasions would tie in with Special Handstamps. The covers can come unsigned or signed by crew or Naval Staff with a link to the ship/submarine being commemorated. All covers are limited in number and most, but not all will have a Certified number on the back
