An Illustrated cover was produced which serviced cost 30p each. If signed by Sussex , Test Players, John Snow Tony Greig Ted Dexter and Jim Parks 50p each and if signed by the 1972 Sussex Team, £1
The cover would also have a cricket ball cachet if it was posted at the ground.
The illustrated cover shows an action shot of the historic Sussex Captain, K S Ranjitsinhji
There was a special post box at Sussex County Cricket Ground Hove Sussex where items posted would receive the special handstamp.
