Description
The GPO were exploring new overseas markets for retail outlets to sell gift packs of British postage stamps.
One of the countries where agreement had been reached was Japan and the GPO had taken a place at the British Week Exhibition held in Tokyo between 26th September and 5th October 1969 to launch the scheme.
This cover was produced and was only available for purchase by visitors to the post office stand in Tokyo.
