The Britannia Locomotive Society produced an illustrated cover to commemorate the 21st Anniversary of the naming of British Rail’s Standard Pacific Loco. No. 70000.
The cover was carried on a steam train hauled by the restored Britannia on The Severn Valley Railway.
The cover cost 28p
There was a special post box at Severn Valley railway station where items posted would receive the special handstamp.
