Description
The convention was held at RAF St Athan on Saturday 15th May from 1300-1800 hours.
This was the second convention of the Federation of South Wales Philatelic Societies and the guest speaker was Mr Kenneth F Chapman the editor of the magazine Stamp Collecting.
An illustrated cover was produced that was only available for sale with the special handstamp at the convention
Stampiau is the welsh word for stamps
There was a special posting box at the RAF St Athan where items posted would receive the special handstamp
