Two illustrated covers were produced one depicted the Lutwaffe F104 G Starfighter and the other the Kon Marine SP2H

This special handstamp has  the image of the Neptune.

A flown cover cost 30p each plus postage whilst a pilot signed cover cost 45p each  plus postage

There was a special post box at Home Postal and Courier Communications Depot RE Inglis Barracks Mill Hill London  NW7 1PX  where items posted would receive the special handstamp. Items for re-posting needed to be sent to the Philatelic Officer at the barracks
