Description
The Tattoo was in aid of the Stars for Spastics Organisation and the Police Dependants Trust.
An illustrated cover was produced, 2000 were printed and carried on the Police launch Semper Vigilo on a cruise on the River Clyde. Each cover will have a cachet re being carried.
Each cover cost 15p and those signed, 100, by Prince George of Denmark the guest of honour at the Tattoo cost £1.25 each
There was a special post box at the Kelvin Hall Glasgow where items posted would receive the special handstamp.
