Sixteen countries sent three -yacht teams to the 1973 Admiral’s Cup.
There was a special post box at the Admiral’s Cup Post Office Gosport and at Camper Nicolson’s Boat Yard Gosport where items posted would receive the special handstamp.
An official illustrated cover was produced which serviced with a 3p stamp cost 20p, a 5p (Europe rate) stamp cost 30p and a 10p (Other overseas) stamp 35p.
