Pad Cancelled Postmark
This handstamp was produced to celebrate ‘Le Walk’ through the Channel Tunnel, organised by The Children’s Society charity and the Daily Mail.
Paddington postman Phil Bell (Postman of the year) took part carrying the first mail through the Tunnel.
A thousand illustrated souvenir covers were sold at £10 each.
