Description
This special event handstamp was used on Village Green Day being 5th June.
An illustrated cover was produced which featured one of the Norman Shaw designed houses in Bedford Park.
A fully serviced cover cost 20p.
A number of covers were signed by Sir John Betjeman CBE who was the patron of the Bedford Park Festival. These covers cost 35p each.
There was a special post box at the Acton Green where items posted would receive the special handstamp
