This service at Broughton made a 23 mile round trip along the Duddon Valley to Cockleybeck in the morning, a 14 mile return run to Seathwaite Westmorland in the afternoon and a one mile trip to Foxfield Station in the evening.
Royal mail post buses can carry up to 11 passengers along with the mail for delivery/collection.
