COLIN TINKLER SNR, one of the most colourful trainers on the northern racing scene & a pioneer in ownership & tipping. Tinkler headed a famous racing dynasty as the husband of champion amateur Marie Tinkler, father of trainers Colin & Nigel, both of whom also rode successfully, father-in-law of highly successful female rider Kim Tinkler, & grandfather of Cheltenham Festival-winning rider Andrew Tinkler & his brother Nicky, who rode winners under both codes.
