A Temporary Post Office designated ‘ Royal Highland Show’ Ingliston Newbridge Midlothian was operational at the showground from 22nd to 26th June the hours of business being 22 June 1000-1830 hours and the other days 0900-1830 hours.
Postal and telegraph business and a restricted service for Giro, Money Order and Savings Bank Business was available.
Telegrams could be sent to the showground, circulation over the TAS Network. The dialing code PH 277 had been allocated.
