St Andrews Town Council sponsored an illustrated cover and handstamp for use to commemorate this event. A special cover was produced in advance in case of a play off which was the case for this years event
An unserviced cover cost 1 shilling,
A special post box was at the St Andrews Golf Course where items posted would receive the special handstamp for each relevant day.
