Description
The Grammar school at Doncaster was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott.
The school sponsored two illustrated covers one had a pen and ink sketch of the original school building which in 1969 was now the School library. This cover fully serviced with the 5d stamp form the Anniversary series issued on this date cost 2s 6d.
The second cover which was larger depicting a wood engraving of the school with a full set of stamps from the anniversary issue cost 8s 6d
