Description

The Annual Congress was held in the Pathfoot Building at Stirling University. The theme was Polar Posts which was inspired by the host society, Paisley Philatelic’s, Congress President Angus McMillan.

The exhibition was open from 1000-1700 hours the official opening at 1200 hours by Dr Hugh Simpson who was leader of Polar Expeditions in the John Biscoe which is depicted on the cover. The cover also marks the 20th Anniversary of the launching of RRS John Biscoe at Paisley Scotland
