Philatex was on from 29th July to 31st July and was held at at the Town Hall
There was a special post box at the exhibition where items posted would received the special handstamp on the 29th July.
The souvenir cover is a reproduction of the front of a 2d Mulready, 1000 were produced and cost 25p each.
There were a limited number of serviced covers at 45p each available at the exhibition on 29th July.
