A fully serviced cover cost 1s 6d each or with the 1966 Bird Stamp issue 2s 3d each.
Proceeds went to the Youth Hostel Association funds
Initially the Youth hostel was due to Open on 27th September 1969 but due to illness this was postponed until 11th October
