62 Regiment The Royal Logistic Corps – 5 Years of Supporting Operations

On 1 October 2013, 88 Postal and Courier Regiment RLC (88 PC Regt) and 162 Movement Control Regiment RLC (162 MC Regt) amalgamated to form 162 Regiment The Royal Logistic Corps (162 Regt RLC). 

Five years on and 162 Regiment have commissioned a commemorative cover to celebrate five years of supporting operations to the Armed Forces.  BFPS has produced a numbered limited edition of 100 commemorative covers signed by the Commanding Officer of the regiment. 

The squadron badges on the cover reflect the squadrons and their rich heritage that form this diverse regiment. A 1st class stamp has been  cancelled by the BFPS 1000 special handstamp.

Covers numbers 1 to 50 will be retained by 162 Regiment for use by them and  by good fortune numbers 51 to 100 have been made available to BFPS.
