Description
The Congress was held at the Council Chamber of the International Coffee Organisation Berners Street W1 over the two days 28-29th September.
There was a separate special handstamp for each day. (1497)
This was the first time the Congress held their meeting in London and some 46 countries were represented.
The illustrated cover cost 1 shilling and could be purchased the week before at Philympia.
There was a special post box at the council chamber where items posted would receive the special handstamp
