An illustrated cover was produced picturing the Guildhall and the special handstamp incorporates the old 570 numeral of Northampton
An unserviced cover cost 9d each plus postage or fully serviced with a 5d Philympia stamp at 1s 6d each
A special post box was at The Old Court Room The Guildhall where items posted would receive the special handstamp
