Description
The convention was held at the Granville College Granville Sheffield with the Sheffield Philatelic Society being the hosts. It was opened by the Lord Mayor of Sheffield Alderman Mrs P Sheard.
Two illustrated covers were produced to commemorate this event. One was a black and white line drawing of Sheffield whilst the second was a four colour cover of Sheffield’s coat-of-arms.
A serviced cover for the line drawing cost 1s 6d whilst the second cover serviced cost 1s 9d.
