Description
To commemorate the Burnley Philatelic Society Silver Jubilee from 15th April to 19th April an exhibition was held at the Central Library Burnley Lancashire.
An illustrated cover was produced which together with the special event handstamp also had a 1944 1d pale red of KG VI and the at the time QE II 4d red stamps. This represented the age of the Society.
The handstamp incorporates the old Burnley 150 ‘killer’
